training for the MS bike tour

Starting to track my mileage....which I should have been doing a long time ago. But it is great to start to see and feel my progress. Torrey Pines here I come...yeah right. lol


Tuesday 9/2: about 4.5 miles
Thursday 9/4: 14.85 miles
Saturday 9/6: 10.95 miles
Sunday 9/7: 38.50 miles
Monday 9/8: 14.85 miles
Wednesday 9/11: 18.37 miles: fastest speed 22.2 mph...really not that fast but fast for me
Saturday 9/13: 41.48 miles: fastest speed 33mph (downhill of course) (included Torrey Pines!, 56 bike path, Rancho Santa Fe, and Del Mar)
Sunday 9/14: 14.85 miles
Wednesday 9/17: 18.37 miles: fastest speed 22.2 (pedaling)
Thursday 9/18: only about 7 miles: fastest speed: 25.2mph!!! (PEDALING) it was awesome!
Saturday 9/20: 46.5 miles: Point Loma to La Jolla Cove, back through Pacific Beach, Mission Beach to Seaport Village, then to Harbor Island drive, then Shleter Island and then back up to Point Loma via Canon St.
Sunday 9/21: 30.4 miles Carmel Valley Rd, took 56 bike path then to the end, headed towards Torrey Pines (and yes Torrey Pines in the last 12miles and the second time I have completed it...yowzers), then back through UCSD and back to Carmel Valley Rd.
Wednesday 9/24: 12.77 miles: fastest speed 25.6!!!...yup pedaling
Saturday 9/27: 54 miles: La Jolla Cove to Pacific coast Highway to Imperial Beach, back over to Coronado Silver Strand (took the ferry back over to downtown), downtown back to La Jolla via Mission Beach and Pacific Beach
Sunday 9/28: 27.5 miles: Mission Bay to Cabrillo National Monument, then back via Ocean Beach
